Cincinnati Book Arts Society invites you to a Zoom meeting on Saturday, January 11 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Please note that this is a Zoom only meeting and the starting time has changed.
DESCRIPTION: Join us as we fold, cut, and build book components with the element of surprise.
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Mixed paper and photographs, any size up to 12” x 18”. Paper heavier than copy paper and lighter than cardstock should work although both are useful for experiments. Claire likes to print photos on cotton resume paper from Staples which has torn edges with a soft texture. She also likes HP double sided presentation paper. It’s meant for brochures but is great for pop-ups because it folds beautifully and doesn’t bleed through to the reverse.
- Glue stick, bone folder, scissors or knife, waste paper.
- Collage words or pens for adding text.
- Your favorite drawing materials.
