STUDIO

Since the fall of 2016, CBAS has had its headquarters at Studio #164, the Essex Studios, 2511 Essex Place, 45206 – just off the Taft Road exit of I-71 in Walnut Hills. We hold most of our in-person programs in this bright, west-facing studio. Membership dues, program fees and generous support from donors allow us to pay monthly studio rental.

Studio #164 serves as the venue for monthly Study Group sessions, workshops and lectures by visiting artists, meetings of special interest groups such as the Zentangle group, member gatherings, exhibits and displays of members’ work, participation in the Essex Art Walks and starting in April 2023, a monthly open studio day for members. It is also used to host workshops and classes for community groups such as Girl Scouts.

When not in use for official CBAS events and with prior approval from the CBAS board, the studio may be used by current members working on individual projects.

For more information, contact the Studio Manager at [email protected].
