We are familiar with displaying our handmade books on easels, tables and shelves. But sometimes galleries are not well equipped with lots of table or shelf display space. However they have lots of wall space! This Zoom study group explores ways to use wall space (and ceilings) as possible places to display our books. In this Study Group Carolyn will demonstrate ways your books can be adapted so they can be mounted on the wall or suspended from a hook. This will be more of a “show and tell” demo than a “working along with” session.
Since this is a demonstration, handouts will be emailed to participants before the study group so attendees can follow along and take personal notes. If you have books already ready for display this way bring them to share on Zoom.
