SUMMERTIME EXHIBIT A SUCCESS

Sixteen CBAS members participated in the recent Summertime exhibit at the Scheben Branch of the Boone County Public Library, contributing 43 books. Ten members and friends attended the field trip to the library. The exhibit was great and hearing the artists talk about their work made it even more interesting. The group then enjoyed lunch and conversation at the Farmstand Market and Cafe in Union.

Thanks for everyone who participated in the exhibit. It was a lovely display and highlighted the many different forms artists’ books can take. A number of the staff commented favorably on our work. Lindy, our contact person, has extended an invitation to do another exhibit sometime in the future. Special thanks to exhibit curator Carolyn Stewart, to Karalyn Kavanaugh and her husband Richard Albin for their help and support behind the scenes, and to the staff of the Scheben Branch Library for giving us this opportunity.
