Of Hawk Mountain Eyries (detail, left), Claire notes “Hawk Mountain is a dramatic nature preserve here in Pennsylvania. It is a favorite spot for migrating raptors and the birders who admire them.”
Of The Queen of Harrods and The Kings of Scotland Claire says “My uncle’s Westie, Flora MacDonald, was a trusty friend to my grandmother in her later years. She was purchased at Harrods and a reminder of the welcoming Scottish community my grandparents found in New Zealand during WWII.”
